Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone. February is our big heart month. We all have a big heart for our loved ones and the special people in our life.
Also, this is the month we are reminded to take care of our heart. Wear Red lots during the month of February and especially February 16 to our general meeting.
Our February meeting is one not to miss. If you haven’t been out to a meeting lately, please try to come to this one. Linda Laurendeau will be presenting her special Flag Program. It is also time once again to elect five members to the nominating committee. Don’t miss it.
February 20th, the District 7 Arts & Crafts Competition will once again be held at the Baptist Church on the corner of 441 & Highland Ave. Registration and continental breakfast begin at 9 am. Umatilla Woman’s Club are the hosts this year.
Your Festival committee is hard at work with only 10 weeks to go. This year we will again bring back the paper hats. This is a project that takes many evenings and many hands. The hat making group meets on Monday evenings at 6:30 pm at Pat Blackwell’s Office on 436 across from Mullinax Ford. For directions call the Art Chairman, Marilyn Stoutjesdyk, at 407-703-4027. This is a fun project and we need your help.
Our annual Fashion Show will be held at Errol Estates Country Club on March 5. Call Robin McEwen or Arlene Croll and get your ticket. Your Club needs your support.
